Perseid Update
Unfortunately the clouds have moved in and there are expectations of thunderstorms in the area tonight, so the Perseids will not be visible for us. We are moving to the backup plan of a movie night on campus and we will be ordering in some food. The movie is to be decided shortly. The Department of Physics and Astronomy's first public night is scheduled for tomorrow night and will take place on the rooftop of Thompson Complex (again weather permitting). Tomorrow's forecast is currently between mainly clear and mostly cloudy (depending on the site you check). Please feel free to join us tonight as we enjoy movies and talk about the Perseid meteor shower or whatever is interesting. Also feel free to join us for public night on Wednesday!
